1. Describe annual kidney disease screening  recommendations for individuals with diabetes
2. Describe the prevalence of low eGFR and abnormal urine ACR for individuals with diabetes
3. Outline the rationale for annual screening including the personal and public health benefits and cost effectiveness 
4. Integrate the new screening recommendations into routine practice
